In gears of war 2 is when i realized the locust were no joke. They broke humans until they killed themselves.

While Doms death shook me emotionally. Tais death rattled me to my core because with Gears 2 being my first gears game, it really opened my eyes to the horrors of war, more specifically what the locust do to their prisoners. Seeing this unstoppable juggernaut of man become a broken shell and the only way he could end his suffering was cocking that gnasher still shakes me to this day.

For how erractic and sometimes bad the writing was, the first 3 Gears games still hit different. The events in this list helped to make the fight with the Locusts feel more personal, especially since half of the list happens to a lovable player character. I'm hyped to play E Day with my bro and relive the Marcus-Dom co-op days.

I liked Judgement

E-Day is going to be amazing. Dom, Baird, Tai Kaliso, lots of familiar faces are/might be showing back up. New monsters or ones weve never seen before in the other games. New guns and a storyline that I know most gears fans have been wanting for YEARS now.
